The gruesome discovery of a slain mother and her two young sons pulls Jordan (Jill Hennessy) into a triple homicide investigation in which the distraught husband/ father, a former hockey star, (guest star Tom Verica, "From Earth to the Moon"), is the only suspect. Pushed by loyalty to her friend Kim (guest star Kristen Wilson), who is also the suspect's attorney, Jordan digs deeper into the case and unearths some troubling images from her own past. Meanwhile, Garrett (Miguel Ferrer) comes to grips with his own forgotten memories when his ex-wife (guest star Lindsay Frost, the upcoming film "Collateral Damage") wants to sell a piece of land once targeted as the location of their dream house, while Bug (Ravi Kapoor) tries to rid himself of a psychic who claims to be in contact with the residents of the morgue.
