Plot Outline:
Jeremiah prepares for an awkward reunion with his father, Devon. Libby gives Jeremiah a letter from his father written years ago. In it he explains what happened the day he and his wife disappeared, SPOILERS BEYOND: and how she died in an escape attempt. It also describes how his collegue, who invented the virus, committed suicide, leaving his young son in Devon's care.
