Extremely annoyed with a patient that won't shut up and with Elliot, who won't discharge her, Dr. Cox releases his anger on J.D., and Carla gives Dr. Cox a piece of her mind for messing with her intern. Dr. Cox ridicules J.D. in front of the whole hospital, and J.D. decides to take action and asks Carla not to protect him anymore. She is deeply offended and J.D. feels very bad for losing such a good friend. But despite all that, he's still Bambi (even though the Janitor thinks "Scooter" is a better nickname). Meanwhile, Turk bravely fights for his right to eat lunch on the bench outside the hospital after Dr. Kelso threats him saying that's his bench.
